  • Fetching Merchant Center account overview

Health of the selected Google Merchant Center account: name, store homepage and whether it is claimed, language and time zone, account-level issues (suspensions, misrepresentation, missing shipping or return policies) with the destinations and countries they affect, product counts per destination and country (active, pending, disapproved, expiring), the ten product issues affecting the most products, and program participation (free listings, Shopping ads, local inventory). Start here before analysing feed quality or performance. Set all_accounts to list every account this connection can reach.

  • Listing Merchant Center product issues

Product data issues of the selected Merchant Center account, grouped per destination (Shopping ads, free listings, local inventory ads…) and country: issue code, whether it disapproves or demotes products, the affected attribute, Google's explanation, how many products it affects, and a help link, next to the active/pending/disapproved/expiring counts. Use it to explain why products are disapproved or limited and what to fix first; use List products with status NOT_ELIGIBLE_OR_DISAPPROVED to see which products are affected.

  • Listing Merchant Center products

Products in the selected Merchant Center account with product id, offer id (SKU), title, brand, price, availability, condition, GTIN, feed label, language, item group, product type and Google category, overall status (eligible, limited, pending, disapproved), and Google's click potential. Filter by status, title text, brand, offer ids, feed label, or language; with include_issues each product carries its issues and the destinations and countries where they disapprove or demote it. The product_id it returns is what Get product and Update product take.

  • Fetching Merchant Center product

One product of the selected Merchant Center account as Google processed it: every attribute (title, description, link, images, price and sale price, availability, GTIN, brand, MPN, condition, categories, product types, custom labels, shipping, size, color…) and custom attributes, the data source it comes from, its approval status per destination with approved, pending, and disapproved countries, every item-level issue with Google's explanation and help link, and creation, update, and expiry dates. Optionally adds its local and regional inventory. Use it before changing a product or to explain one product's disapproval.

  • Fetching Merchant Center product performance

Impressions, clicks, and click-through rate of the selected Merchant Center account's products on Google (Shopping ads and free listings), plus conversions, conversion value, and conversion rate for free listings, broken down by any of offer id, title, brand, Google category, product type, custom labels, day, week, marketing method (ADS vs ORGANIC), and customer country, for a relative period or explicit dates, filtered by marketing method, country, offer ids, or brand, sorted by a metric. Use it for best and worst performing products, free-listing traffic, and trends. Shopping ads cost and ROAS live in Google Ads, not here.

  • Fetching Merchant Center price insights

Price competitiveness of the selected Merchant Center account's products: the current price next to the benchmark price other merchants charge for the same product per country (with the gap in percent), and Google's suggested price with the predicted change in impressions, clicks, and conversions and how effective the change is expected to be. Use it to find products priced above the market or price changes worth testing. Only products Google can match to other merchants' offers appear.

  • Fetching Google Shopping best sellers

Google's best sellers ranking for a country, weekly or monthly: the most popular products (title, brand, GTINs, category) or brands on Google Shopping by estimated units sold, with rank, previous rank, relative demand, and whether demand is rising or sinking, plus for products whether the merchant has them in stock, out of stock, or not in its catalog at all. Use it to find assortment gaps and trending products in a category.

  • Listing Merchant Center data sources

Data sources (product feeds) of the selected Merchant Center account: primary and supplemental product sources, local/regional inventory, promotion and review sources, with input type (API, file, Google Sheets, UI, autofeed), feed label, language, countries, destinations, fetch schedule and URL, and for file feeds the latest fetch result (processing state, items processed, created and updated, feed-level errors). Use it to diagnose a feed that stopped updating, or to find the data source id that product and promotion writes need.

  • Listing Merchant Center promotions

Promotions of the selected Merchant Center account with title, id, country, language, offer type and coupon code, discount (percent off, money off, buy-x-get-y, free gift), which products it applies to, the effective and display periods, destinations, and Google's review status per destination with item-level issues.

  • Querying Merchant Center reports

Run one Merchant Center Query Language (MCQL) query on the selected account for anything the other tools do not cover, such as competitive visibility (which domains appear next to the merchant and how often they rank higher) or non-product (store page) performance. Tables: product_performance_view, non_product_performance_view, product_view, price_competitiveness_product_view, price_insights_product_view, best_sellers_product_cluster_view, best_sellers_brand_view, competitive_visibility_competitor_view, competitive_visibility_top_merchant_view, competitive_visibility_benchmark_view. Syntax: SELECT snake_case fields FROM one table WHERE conditions joined by AND (no OR; operators = != > >= < <= IN, NOT IN, LIKE, CONTAINS ANY, REGEXP_MATCH) ORDER BY selected fields LIMIT n. Performance tables need a date condition (date DURING LAST_30_DAYS or date BETWEEN 'YYYY-MM-DD' AND 'YYYY-MM-DD'); competitive visibility tables need date, report_country_code, and report_category_id conditions and select traffic_source; best sellers need report_country_code and report_granularity conditions. Values come back in camelCase with money as { amount, currency }.

  • Updating Merchant Center product

Change attributes of one product in the selected Merchant Center account: title, description, link, images, price, sale price, availability, condition, brand, GTINs, MPN, Google category, product types, custom labels 0-4, color, size, pausing in ads or everywhere, and excluded destinations; or clear attributes. Only the listed attributes change. Products managed through the Merchant API are updated in their own data source; products from a file or Sheets feed are overridden through the API supplemental data source linked to that feed (the tool explains how to add one when none exists). Google needs a few minutes to reprocess the product. The user approves the call in chat before it executes.

  • Starting Merchant Center feed fetch

Make Google fetch one scheduled file data source (feed URL or Google Sheet) of the selected Merchant Center account right away instead of waiting for its schedule, e.g. after the feed was fixed. Google allows this about once a day per source; List data sources shows the result once processing finishes. The user approves the call in chat before it executes.
